if this is the first book of the series that u were going to read, I say don't. Beg, borrow, but don't steal, the rest of the series. You will not be disappointed, in fact u will be over joyed to read from the beginning. It will twist your panties ( if u wear them ).
I loved every word, every book, I cant wait to pick up more from this author. A Beautiful story with all the highs and low and some unexpected twits. beautifully written and perfectly smutty !
I really enjoyed the books but I do not like that each book was so short. I feel cheated. A person has to buy 6 books that really should be just 1 whole book. It's a shame because the author is talented but I will think hard before reading anymore of her books.
I enjoyed this series and found myself powering through it in a day to get to the "meat of the meet". It's done in serial installments so there's a little bit of padding you have to wade through every time, rehashing what's already happened. Still it was a novel approach to the whole Dom/sub relationship and was well written. My one complaint would be that I would have liked more follow up after the big reveal, having invested so much time in the foreplay, but I don't think it's a deal breaker as much as just my own personal preference.
I won't be a spoiler so I'll leave this review brief. I was completely surprised by the ending of this book; it was a happy surprise. Of course, my husband knew exactly what was going to happen at the end. He always does. LOL.
I can't explain how much I enjoyed reading this book. I love the raw emotion that Alexis Adaire writes with. It's so easy to identify with her characters and get caught up in their story. This is true even when they're doing things you could never imagine yourself doing, and especially when they're doing things you love to do. Great book. I can't wait to read more.
This entire series could have been written in one book, instead of 6 series. The turnoff for me is, every time I've read another series it's takes up 3 chapters taking about what I already know in book 1. I've read the entire series hoping it would be better because the only thing she knows of this man is he's rich and have a hidden fetish. He didn't really tell her anything personal about himself beyond kinky sex. What I love, is he open her eyes to see regardless of weigh, beauty, or skin color - men will be men. They go after what they want, or like - all it takes is confidence.
Absolutely loved the entire series and this book especially !
This was one of the most interesting,romantic and sexy series of books that I have ever read. This is one author I will definitely keep on reading.
